How counselling can help
People come to therapy not happy with the way things are in their life. They may
feel low, sad, depressed, anxious or stressed.
Problems may be with couple or other relationships or there may be sexual difficulties.
Often it is not appropriate to discuss things with family or friends but it would
be helpful to talk to someone who will really listen and take you seriously.

can take a while to unravel.
I work to a classic 50-minute hour with individuals,
usually once, some-times twice a week, and I allow an hour to an hour and a half
with couples, usually every two to three weeks.

Relationships and Sexual Issues
I have a particular interest in relationship and sexual problems. Poor communication,
jealousy, affairs, loss of sexual interest or dysfunction contribute to a less than
satisfactory state of affairs within the partnership. General pressures of day to
day living including money, work, family and health all take their toll, often leading
to arguments and rows.
Therapy can be a safe place to explore and overcome difficulties and encourage moving
towards a more fulfilling and happy relationship.
